Introduction - ovals and more

Here I have a fixed point. All the points at a fixed distance from it, form a circle.	If I have two fixed points and use the sum of the distances, I get an ellipse.	But what would happen if I had more than two points?
What if I multiplied the distances rather than adding them?	Then I could add weights to the points...	Come come and explore these ideas. The Ovals Explorer
